Bloodworks Northwest is bringing back its popular “Give Blood: Rescue a Human” campaign, a pet-inspired initiative that celebrates the bond between people and their pets while encouraging blood donation across the Pacific Northwest.
The organization supplies blood to more than 95% of hospitals in Western Washington and Oregon, helping patients receive transfusions when needed.
Bloodworks partnered with Pacific Northwest muralist Ryan “Henry” Ward to kickoff their campaign in Seattle on June 11 at Seattle Waterfront Marketplace studio at 1400 Alaskan Way.
According to Bloodworks’ press release, donors who give blood between June 1 and July 31 will be entered for a chance to win a $10,000 gas card. Those who donate between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30 will be entered for a chance to win one of three $3,000 Visa gift cards.
