Orchestra Zarabanda
Orchestra Zarabanda

Echoing the classic Cuban conjunto format, Orchestra Zarabanda is set to play from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 at Edmonds City Park, 3rd Avenue and Pine Street. The band’s appearance is part of the free 2016 Summer Concerts presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission and sponsored by Lynnwood Honda, Acura of Lynnwood and The Hazel Miller Foundation.

Orchestra Zarabanda plays deep-grooving salsa straight from Old Havana with a modern arranging sensibility. This 10-piece band is comprised of Latin rhythm section, trombones, flute and vocals.

In the event of rain, the concert will be cancelled at 2:30 p.m. A complete calendar of all concerts can be found at www.edmondswa.gov/summer-concerts.html
