Mountlake Terrace Police Officer Eric Jones

Mountlake Terrace Police Department Officer Eric Jones recently won a third consecutive North American Motor Officers Association “Show and Shine” competition, a first for the organization. Jones beat out other officers in the region for his efforts to maintain the department’s 2012 Police Model Harley Davidson Road King in cleanliness and “shine.”

Jones is a nine-year veteran of the Mountlake Terrace Police Department, and has spent the past three years as a motor officer. He is assigned to the only motorcycle in the department’s fleet.

The NAMOA held the competition as part of its annual conference held last month in Marysville. About 150 motor officers from three state and Canada attended.
