Marilla Sargent, vice president and branch manager of HomeStreet Bank in Mountlake Terrace, on Friday presented a $5,000 check to Mike Schwartz of the YWCA of King and Snohomish Counties. The donation will be used for the YWCA's BankWork$ program.
Marilla Sargent, vice president and branch manager of HomeStreet Bank in Mountlake Terrace, on Friday presented a $5,000 check to Mike Schwartz of the YWCA of King and Snohomish Counties. The donation will be used for the YWCA’s BankWork$, an eight-week training program that prepares local residents with low incomes for employment as bank tellers and offers graduates entry into banking industry careers.
