Yes, I want to support My MLTnews!

Supporters of the Mountlake Terrace High School music program made their feelings known Sunday afternoon about potential Edmonds School District budget cuts that could impact arts programs districtwide. The rally for music was held at the intersection of 196th Street Soutwest and 44th Avenue West in Lynnwood.  (Photos courtesy MTHS Music Boosters)

  1. I am tired of Schools automatically taking away music and arts when they have a shortfall.
They never get rid of football (I am not suggesting they do).
Why don’t they get some community sponsorship for these programs to keep them going.
Don’t they ever think of alternatives? The school board needs to get it together and work towards
keeping these programs rather than automatically cutting.
