Join Sno-King International Folk Dance Club for its April Foolishness Party from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W., Lynnwood. There will be live music from the duo Invartim. Bring snacks to share.
The club hosts dances every Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., with dances from many countries, in a number of formats: circle, couple, mixer, line, and set. You don’t need to bring a partner.
Wednesday, April 8 is set teaching night, starting at 6:45 p.m, when Harry Khamis will teach a Scottish Strathspey.
Saturday, Aprll is the Spring Fling Dance party from 7-9 p.m.
And on the next two Wednesdays — April 15 and 22, dancing will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the half-hour beginners’ classes, followed by a regular dance. Dances to be taught include two Israeli dances — one a couple dance and one individual.
