The Mountlake Terrace City Council will hear an update from Sno-Isle Libraries Executive Director Eric Howard and Mountlake Terrace Community Library Manager Kristin Piepho, which includes the library levy lid lift and strategic planning.
The Council is also considering a proposal to increase certain community development permit fees by 9% as a part of ongoing fiscal sustainability efforts.
The proposed changes follow discussions held during the Council’s April 23 work session, when councilmembers reviewed recommendations from the Fiscal Sustainability Taskforce and alternative budget package options. On May 7, the Council voted to move forward with a proposal to increase limited permit fees tied to community development services.
