Community Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Regular service will resume Saturday, July 4.
Passengers planning to attend Independence Day events are encouraged to check schedules in advance and allow extra travel time.
On July 3, service will operate as follows:
- Community Transit buses and DART paratransit service: Sunday schedule
- Sound Transit bus service operated by Community Transit: Sunday schedule
Zip Shuttle service will operate during the following hours:
- Alderwood: 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.
- Arlington and Lake Stevens: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Darrington: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Community Transit’s Customer Care phone lines and Ride Store will remain open during regular business hours.
All bus service will return to regular schedules July 4. Schedules and trip-planning information are available online. Riders can also contact Customer Care at 425-353-7433 before the holiday for assistance planning trips.
Community Transit reminds passengers that fireworks are prohibited on buses and all transit property, including transit centers and park-and-ride facilities.
