The City of Mountlake Terrace will host a series of free concerts, outdoor movies and family activities throughout July and August at the Civic Campus, Terrace Creek Park and Evergreen Playfield No. 3.
The Terrace Summer Nights concert series will run from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursdays in July. Performers include:
- July 9: Global Heat at the Civic Campus, 23204 58th Ave. W., with the Northshore Farmers Market.
- July 16: Jeannie Rak at Terrace Creek Park, 23200 48th Ave. W.
- July 23: Son Los Que Son at the Civic Campus, with the Northshore Farmers Market.
- July 30: Mister Canoe at Terrace Creek Park.
The City’s Movies in the Park series will begin about 15 minutes after sunset at Terrace Creek Park. The lineup includes:
- Aug. 1: Hercules (G)
- Aug. 8: Cool Runnings (PG)
- Aug. 14: Encanto (PG)
- Aug. 21: The Greatest Showman (PG)
Extra summer events include:
- National Night Out Against Crime from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Evergreen Playfield No. 3.
- Bubble Play Day from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Evergreen Playfield No. 3.
All events are free and open to the public.
