  1. I love the Blue Angels, always have. Have seen them in person and wish I could see them more. They are a tribute to the USA, our military, our heritage. I am a Gold Star wife, live in Washington State, a state in which doesn’t support the military even though we have one of the largest military bases. I have been told my husband didn’t give the ultimate sacrifice for your freedom, but for stupidity for joining the armed forces in the first place. To see the Blue Angels fly my heart feels good, I cry and thank someone out there for feeling the same. They are a wonderful team showing their talent and patriotism. They should be honored not chastised.

  2. Mary, like you I love the Blue Angels and wish I could still watch them in person. The pilots’ skilled precision maneuvers are breathtaking (a tad scary, too) and a credit to their intensive military training. Yes, the planes are loud and, yes, considerable jet fuel is used, but not that different from our noisy polluting lifestyle. But a proud testament to our US military.
