The fourth annual Mrs. Roper Pub Crawl and Roper Romp Dance Party will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, July 31, in downtown Edmonds, raising money for the Edmonds Food Bank and the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network.
The event is inspired by the colorful character Helen Roper from the television sitcom Three’s Company. It encourages participants to dress in caftans, leisure suits and other retro attire while visiting participating restaurants, bars and breweries throughout downtown Edmonds.
Registration is free, although donations are encouraged. Organizers said all proceeds will be divided equally between the Edmonds Food Bank, which provides food assistance to local residents, and the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, which supports immigrant and refugee communities across Washington.
