The Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation (EAFF) awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships to 15 students pursuing degrees in arts-related fields during a June 3 reception at Art Works in Edmonds.
The scholarships support students studying disciplines including animation, architecture, medical illustration, environmental design, theater production and design, interior design, film production and digital art.
Recipients are graduates of high schools within the Edmonds School District or students studying art at Edmonds College. Scholarship recipients may apply annually for renewal funding while pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

One work from each student’s portfolio will be displayed in the gallery during the Edmonds Arts Festival.
The scholarship program is funded through donations, a portion of proceeds from the annual Edmonds Arts Festival and the Foundation’s fundraising efforts.
