The southbound on-ramp to SR 525 in Lynnwood will be closed April 5-9 as the Washington Department of Transportation installs a new concrete island and for other maintenance work.
Drivers should prepare for delays and plan alternate routes while traveling through the area during this time.
The closure is part of WSDOT’s project to pave re-pave SR 525 from I-405 to Highway 99. Construction is set to begin this month and end in Fall 2026, according to WSDOT’s website.
Next week’s work in Lynnwood is dependent on weather and may be re-scheduled if rain or cold temperatures are forecasted.
Drivers can monitor traffic conditions and plan their trips using the WSDOT app and the real-time travel map.
Learn more about the project on WSDOT’s website.
