Edmonds police are seeking the owner of an urn found in a grocery bag at City Park this spring.
“Every so often we end up with found remains (usually taken during a car prowl or something similar),” Edmonds Police Cmdr. Shane Hawley said. “This urn was found in City Park on April 30.”
The urn was inside a Mountlake Terrace Grocery Outlet bag. City Park, where it was found, is located at 600 3rd Ave. S. in Edmonds.
“We did contact the funeral home listed on the urn, but they cannot find any records that match,” Hawley said.
