Free summer meals will be available for all children ages 1-18 from June 22 through Aug. 20 through the Edmonds School District’s Food and Nutrition Services program.
Meals will be served Monday through Thursday at locations throughout Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace. The program is designed to help ensure children continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session.
Meal sites opening June 22
- Bicentennial Park, 4105 222nd St. S.W., Mountlake Terrace, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (breakfast and lunch)
- Community Life Center, 19820 Scriber Lake Rd., Lynnwood, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (breakfast and lunch)
- Spruce Elementary School, 17405 Spruce Way, Lynnwood, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (breakfast and lunch)
Meal sites opening June 29
- Alderwood Middle School, 1132 172nd St. S.W., Lynnwood, breakfast from 7:45-8:05 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Lynnwood Elementary School, 18614 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood, 11:30 a.m. to noon
- Mountlake Terrace Elementary School, 22001 52nd Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace, 11:30 a.m. to noon
- Alderwood Boys & Girls Club, 19719 24th Ave. W., Lynnwood, breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to noon
Some meal sites are connected to summer learning programs, while others operate in partnership with the Foundation for Edmonds School District’s free summer camps and activities.
All meals must be eaten on site. District officials said meal locations, dates and times are subject to change, and additional sites may be added throughout the summer.
