Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is underway this May, and Homage Senior Services highlights its longstanding commitment to serving AAPI older adult community across Snohomish County.
Founded in 1974, Homage serves more than 25,000 older adults and people living with disabilities each year through programs spanning Meals on Wheels, transportation, mental health counseling, minor home repair and social connection.
AAPI programs
Homage offers specialized programming for Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Vietnamese community members, alongside bilingual staff who speak one or more of these languages. This ensures that language is never a barrier to accessing vital services.
Each week, Homage welcomes about 250 attendees through its multicultural programming that runs Monday through Thursday at the Lynnwood Elks Lodge.

“The AAPI group members are remarkable people whose stories, traditions and contributions deserve to be honored,” Homage CEO Jay Kang said. “They bring incredible wisdom, resilience and joy to our community, and we are privileged to serve them.”
Homage’s bilingual aging and disability specialists also assist AAPI older adults in navigating everything from Medicare to Meals on Wheels, mental health services, transportation, home repair and more.
