Maple Rock and Gem Club in Edmonds

The Edmonds-based Maplewood Rock and Gem Club is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026 and will be hosting its 19th annual rock and mineral sale Aug. 8-9.

The nonprofit club is located at 8802 196th St. S.W., Edmonds.

Founded in 1951, the Club said in a news release it is dedicated to education, stewardship and sharing the enjoyment of geology, rock collecting, mineralogy, jewelry making and lapidary arts with people of all ages.

Throughout the anniversary year, club volunteers are organizing and digitizing decades of photographs, newsletters, documents and memorabilia. This archival project will help preserve the club’s rich history while making it easier to share with future generations of rock enthusiasts.
