Community members and pickleball enthusiasts will gather at Harbor Square Athletic Club in Edmonds Sept. 12 for the Mike Meeks Memorial “Pickleball for a Purpose” Tournament. The event honors the late Mike Meeks — celebrating his love of life, laughter and the sport — while raising funds for the Edmonds College Foundation Scholarship Program.
The tournament features mixed doubles, men’s doubles and women’s doubles. Divisions are broken down by skill level:
Beginner: 2.5 – 3.0
Intermediate: 3.0 – 3.5
Advanced: 3.5 – 4.0
Open: All ratings
Registration is open now and there is a fee of $60 per player. To register, scan the registration QR code below.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring gently used pickleball paddles to donate to local programs that make the sport accessible to more community members.
Community members who cannot play on tournament day can still support Edmonds College students by making direct contributions online.
