The March of Dimes is celebrating its 14th year in honoring the best and brightest local nurses for the Washington Nurse of the Year Awards. Nominations for these exceptional nurses will be accepted statewide. The event will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Meydenbauer Conference Center.
Nominations are being accepted through Oct. 7, 2016. Nomination forms can be found online at www.nurseoftheyear.org/washington.
Proceeds from the event will benefit March of Dimes maternal and child health programs. Individual tickets, tables and sponsorships are available through the March of Dimes at 206-452-6630, or online at www.nurseoftheyear.org/washington. Individual tickets for the event are $200. Table sponsorships are $2,000.
Any registered nurse, nurse midwife, nurse practitioner, student nurse or licensed practical nurse in the state of Washington in good standing with the state’s Nursing Commissioners and residing in Washington for a minimum of one year are eligible to be nominated. Winners will be recognized at the awards breakfast.
