The Wickers Building

Cheri Stadler Ryan, president of the Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association and City of Lynnwood’s official historian, will speak at the Wednesday, May 6, meeting of the Sno-Isle Geneaological Society.

Ryan will share the remarkable journey of her grandparents, who immigrated to the U.S., homesteaded in the rugged Montana Badlands, and eventually settled in Alderwood Manor. She will discuss the stark contrast between their arduous homestead life and raising eight children in the burgeoning community of Alderwood Manor. The talk also covers the early history of the City of Lynnwood.

The in-person meeting at the Wicker’s Building, 19921 Poplar Way, Lynnwood, begins with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. Online guests are welcome to join beginning at 7:15 pm.

Find meeting details at the Sno-Isle Genealogy calendar.
