Hop into the fun of international folk dance from 7-9 p.m. every Wednesday in May and the second Saturday — at the same time — for a party sponsored by Sno-King International Folk Dance Club at the Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W., Lynnwood.

The evening includes partner, no-partner, set and individual dances from all over that will keep you from getting into a rut, the dance club promises. You don’t need to bring a partner, and there is always time for requests.

Some specifics:

On two Wednesdays — May 6 and May 20 — the class will start at 6:30 p.m. for beginners, before the regular dance.

The Wednesday, May 13 class will begin at 6:45 p.m. for set teaching night. Latecomers may not be able to join a set.

The Second Saturday party will run from 7-9 p.m. May 9 and you are welcome to bring finger food snacks to share.

Among the dances to be taught in May are those from Serbia, Canada/Scotland, the U.S. and Albania.

Admission is $8 and your first time is free. For information, visit www.sno-king.org, email [email protected] or call 425-610-9393.
