Verdant Health Commission opens 2027 funding cycle

The Verdant Health Commission is accepting funding applications from community nonprofits and agencies serving South Snohomish County residents. The application period runs from June 1 through July 10, 2026. Funding is available for programs that align with one of Verdant’s two priority areas:

  • Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Mental Health or
  • Access to Direct Healthcare Services

Awards will be announced in late September 2026, with contracts beginning Jan. 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2027.

“Access to child, adolescent and young adult mental health services and direct healthcare services continueto be greatly needed services in our community,” said Verdant Board President Carolyn Brennan. “This funding cycle will be focused on these two priority areas that are in high demand.”

Verdant will hold information sessions on Thursday, June 11 at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, June 24 at 3 p.m. to answer application questions. Community members are invited to join and can register here.
