Edmonds College will host its fourth annual AI For Everyone Day from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Hazel Miller Hall, 20000 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood.
The free event, themed “Learn, Build, Belong,” is open to the public and will feature hands-on workshops designed to help participants explore how artificial intelligence can be used in everyday life, education and careers.
Workshop topics include using AI as a personalized learning tool, building and programming AI-powered Sphero robots, identifying AI scams and deepfakes, and exploring emerging technologies in an interactive AI sandbox.
“Our goal at Edmonds College is to ensure AI is accessible to all members of our community, no matter their background,” Dean of STEM Carey Schroyer said. “This event is meticulously crafted to demystify artificial intelligence and equip community members with the tools needed to understand its transformative potential in an AI-driven world.”
Participants will also learn about Edmonds College’s AI and robotics degree programs and student clubs focused on drones, robotics and remotely operated vehicles.
Doors open at 9 a.m., with workshops beginning at 9:30 a.m. Some sessions have limited capacity, and advance registration is encouraged.
