British Hedgehogs sponsoring Mother’s Day Teas in a Box fundraiser

The British Hedgehogs, the local chapter of Daughters of the British Empire, is once again hosting its Mother’s Day Teas in a box fundraiser, with donations going to charity.

Each box contains all you need for a lovely Mother’s Day afternoon tea — two sausage rolls, two half croissant sandwiches, one herbed cream cheese and cucumber sandwich and one coronation chicken salad, plus baked goods that include a scone, shortbread and lemon drizzle cake.

Sign up is online and prepaid through Zelle. You can collect your box Saturday, May 9 in downtown Edmonds or there is a $5 delivery charge in the Edmonds School District area.
