Celebrating Cultures Across the Pacific festival May 2 at Terrace Park Elementary

The Edmonds School District in partnership with the City of Mountlake Terrace invites the community to “Celebrating Cultures Across the Pacific,” a festival celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

  • Date: Saturday, May 2
  • Time: 11 a.m. -2 p.m.
  • Location: Terrace Park Elementary, 5409 228th St. S.W., Mountlake Terrace

The event will include performances from local Hawaiian dance group Hula o Lehulani, a Korean folk music performance by Edmonds School District’s Pungmul Program and a Buryat folk music performance. The MLT Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission will provide arts, crafts and games and local food vendors will provide food from Countries throughout the Pacific.

The event is free and open to the public.
