The Edmonds School District will host a free Positive Discipline Workshop for parents and caregivers on Saturday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the district office, 20420 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.
The session is designed to help families strengthen relationships and build effective parenting skills through hands-on learning and practical strategies.
Positive Discipline is a parenting philosophy focused on mutual respect, connection and cooperation between adults and children. Participants will learn tools for setting boundaries, resolving conflicts and building confidence in their parenting approach.
The workshop will be presented in English, with Spanish interpretation available. Childcare will also be provided for children age 3 and older who are toilet-trained.
