Helena Marsh pitched a complete game, striking out eight on the way to an Edmonds-Woodway 4-2 victory over the Shorecrest Scots. Six different Warriors contributed base hits, including Ellie Alderson who was 3-for-4 with a double, run, RBI and a stolen base.

Head coach Josh McClure also noted that the Warriors were aided by tremendous defense from the team’s middle infielders; shortstop Bella Swanson and Abby Tracy at second base.

Shorewood pitcher Lukas Wanke pitched five shutout innings against his former team as the Shorewood Stormrays defeated the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors 2-0 to set up a season finale that will determine the Wesco 2A/3A South Champion.

The Warriors and Stormrays will enter the final game of the season tied for first place, each with a 10-1 conference record. The two will wrap up the regular season at Edmonds-Woodway High School on Friday May 1 at 4 p.m. with winner taking the conference title.
