Mountlake Terrace defeated Meadowdale 4-1 (8 innings)

Mountlake Terrace pitchers Owen Meek and Jack Gripetrog combined to hold Meadowdale to one hit and one run as the Hawks defeated the Mavericks 4-1 in eight innings.

Meek pitched the first seven innings, allowing only one hit and one unearned run, walking one batter and striking out six. The game was tied at 1-1 through seve innings and moved into extra innings. The Hawks offense then put up three runs in the top of the eighth, allowing Gripentrog to close out the game and pick up the save by pitching a hitless eighth inning.

Meadowdale also had solid pitching performances from starter Carson Bishop (five innings, three hits, one run and six strikeouts) and Ben Webster (one inning, one hit, two walks and one strikeout).
