Edmonds-Woodway defeated Monroe 2-1
Edmonds-Woodway Warriors pitchers Bennett Loeffler, Carter Disney and Thomas Geving combined to hold the Monroe Bearcats to a single run as the Warriors squeaked out a 2-1 non-conference win. Loeffler held Monroe scoreless through the first four innings and only allowed two Bearcats hits. Disney and Geving pitched the final five innings.
Erik Alsdorf and Finn Crawford each contributed an RBI while Cruz Escandon added a triple and scored a run for the Warriors.
