NW Veterans Museum receives donation, will be open July 4

The Northwest Veterans Museum Board of Directors recently accepted a donation from the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound and their treasurer, Cal Johnson. The donation was made available following their fundraising event at Lynnwood’s Just Left Bar and Grill.

To celebrate the United States’ 250th Anniversary this year, the Northwest Veterans Museum will be open fron 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at Heritage Park, 19921 Poplar Way, Lynnwood.

Visitors are invited to view the Civil War uniform replica and enjoy exploring other military artifacts. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.

The NWVM is a nonprofit that relies on community support.
