The Sno-King School Retirees will host a public event “Around the World With Nellie Bly” on Wednesday, May 21, at the Edmonds School District headquarters, 20420 68th Ave. W. in Rooms 101 and 102 Lynnwood.
The program will feature local storyteller Debbie Dimitre portraying Nellie Bly, sharing stories about Bly’s life and accomplishments, including her work as the nation’s first female investigative journalist.
A meet-and-greet is scheduled from 1 to 1:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 1:30 p.m. Sno-King School Retirees serves active and retired educators in the Edmonds, Northshore and Shoreline school districts.
