This Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, Sound Transit said that buses will replace 1 Line trains between Rainier Beach and SeaTac/Airport all day, and 2 Line trains during morning hours (from open until noon) between Spring District and Overlake Village.

During the closure, crews will conduct routine maintenance on track and power systems near Tukwila International Boulevard Station and install new crossing panels near BelRed Station, Sound Transit said.

The 1 Line trains will operate every 10 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Rainier Beach and between SeaTac/Airport and Federal Way Downtown. Passengers traveling through the impacted area will need to switch to shuttle buses, which will operate every 10-15 minutes, making all stops between Rainier Beach and Tukwila.

The 2 Line trains will operate every 20 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Spring District and every 13 minutes between Overlake Village and Downtown Redmond from start of service until noon on both weekend days.

During the work, passengers traveling through the impacted area will need to switch to shuttle buses, which will operate every 10-15 minutes, making all stops between Spring District and Overlake Village. Full 2 Line service will resume at noon, with trains operating between Lynnwood City Center and Downtown Redmond.
