Concern for Neighbors Food Bank will host its “Step Up for Neighbors” community walk from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Lake Ballinger Center, 23000 Lakeview Drive, in Mountlake Terrace.

The free event will bring together residents, local organizations and community partners for an afternoon of walking, learning and supporting local families facing food insecurity. Organizers will collect nonperishable food donations to benefit the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank.

Participants will begin by picking up an event passport upon arrival before walking an ADA-accessible route through the event grounds. Along the way, attendees can visit booths hosted by local organizations and community groups, connect with neighbors and collect stamps to complete their passport cards.

Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to donate and are welcome to stay as long as they like.

Concern for Neighbors Food Bank serves individuals and families in Mountlake Terrace and nearby communities by providing food assistance and community support services. The nonprofit serves about 200 households a week.
