The Washington West African Center (WAWAC) will host its Sougou Monthly Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the last Saturday and Sunday of each month, beginning May 30-31, at its Lynnwood location, 19203 36th Ave. W., Ste #210.

According to the organization, the market is intended to connect community members while providing affordable household goods, clothing, electronics, furniture and other donated items.

WAWAC said in a news release that the market is designed to support local families and strengthen community ties by creating a shared space centered on accessibility, generosity and mutual support.
