The Mountlake Terrace Chamber of Commerce has launched the MLT Passport Adventure, a community-wide program that encourages residents and visitors to explore local businesses throughout the city during the Seattle World Cup.

The free program begins June 11 and runs through July 19. Participants can pick up a passport, visit participating businesses, complete activities and collect stamps while learning more about local shops, restaurants and services.

Twenty-seven businesses are participating in the program, each offering a unique experience ranging from interactive activities and challenges to special promotions, according to the MLT Chamber’s press release. Participants who complete their passports will be eligible for prizes. The first 100 people to finish their passports will receive a gift, and all completed passports will be entered into a raffle.

“This program is all about celebrating our local business community and encouraging people to explore everything Mountlake Terrace has to offer,” Mountlake Terrace Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Aireal King said. “Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, we hope you’ll discover something new along the way.”

Passports are available at designated locations throughout the city while supplies last. The program is supported through grant funding from the Economic Alliance Snohomish County’s Activate Snohomish County initiative.

More information, including participating businesses and passport pickup locations, is available through the Mountlake Terrace Chamber of Commerce or email [email protected].
