The sun was shining on Edmonds-Woodway High School graduates Friday night as family members and friends joined staff members in celebrating the Class of 2026 at Edmonds District Stadium.
Graduates entered to Pomp and Circumstance, followed by the Star-Spangled Banner and What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life, performed by EWHS musicians and led by Edmonds-Woodway Director of Bands Jake Bergevin.

The first student speaker, selected by the senior class, was ASB President Kailani Terwilliger. She was followed by faculty speaker Michael Simon, a Career and Technical Education Business and Marketing teacher.

Then, the Edmonds-Woodway High School Mello-Aires, under the direction of Charlotte Reese, performed Pennies from Heaven, arranged by E-W Class of 2026 graduate Luca Hume.

Joy Yoo, senior class vice president, was the second student to speak, chosen by the EWHS faculty.
The following graduates were recognized during the program:
Principal’s Hall of Fame: Erik Alsdorf, Scarlett Luo, Kelly Luu, Christian Ochoa Corona, Ava Oliver, Alison Schell, Isabel Soubeih, Kailani Terwilliger, Alex White, Joy Yoo
National Merit commended students: Cassandra Garrett, Savannah Janssen-Kay, Kelly Luu, Lucille Myers, Shaiya Naidu and Adelle Wang

Following the presentation of the diplomas, Class President Ava Oliver led the changing of the tassel, followed by students tossing their caps in the air.
Graduates left the stadium as the 2026-27 EWHS Wind Ensemble — under the direction of Bergevin — performed the Washington Post March.
