The Mountlake Terrace City Council will recognize local Eagle Scouts Lisa Beam and Robert Jensen at the Thursday, June 18, Council meeting at City Hall. After the recognition, the Council will receive an update on the City’s Utility Capital Improvement Program, which outlines priorities investments in water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure.
The council will also:
- Review an agreement for construction management services related to the Westside Water Main Phase II project, a planned effort to improve the City’s water distribution system.
- Consider amendments to Chapters 19.95 and 15.05 of the Mountlake Terrace Municipal Code to update regulations related to public infrastructure improvements and development requirements.
- Review and vote on recommendations from the City Council Board and Commission Interview Committee for appointments to the City’s advisory boards and commissions.
- Consider ordinances modifying Title 2 of the municipal code. The proposed changes are intended to streamline and modernize provisions governing city boards and commissions by creating a more unified framework, which was covered in the June 11 meeting.
